On Election Day
What you need to know as an employer
Voting hours on General Voting Day are 8am to 8pm. Voters are entitled to four consecutive hours free from work to vote on General Voting Day.
Please note that this does not necessarily mean four hours off work. It means that there must be a four hour period, free from work, during voting hours.
Finding a polling station
There are several polling stations on the North Shore, as well as in every community in the province. Find a polling station in your riding on Elections BC's website.
Voter ID
All voters must prove their identity and residential address before voting. Elections BC outlines the 3 ways to do this.
