Deep Cove Kayak Centre:
Deep Cove Kayak Centre has been operating in North Vancouver’s Deep Cove for over 35 years, specializing in providing a positive paddling experience, with an emphasis on safety and skill development. They offer hourly, daily, or weekly rentals along with a variety of programs.
Cates Park Paddling Centre:
Cates Park Paddling Centre is a 5 minute drive from Deep Cove and is a popular place to get out on the water. The ancestral name for this land is Whey-Ah-Whichen which means ‘faces the wind’. Cates Park has great importance to the Tsleil-Waututh people. It was used as a small village during the spring and summer months to hunt and gather the natural resources. Today the Tsleil-Waututh people use the park for cultural events, ceremonies and Takaya Tours kayak operations.
