Walk & Talk - Mahon Park - November 9, 2023

Join us for some great outdoor networking along the paths of Mahon Park. 
Make some new connections with members!   

This walk includes several stair cases.
Dress for the weather.  This event will take place rain or shine! 

Note: Dogs are not allowed at Walk & Talk  (NVCC insur. regs) 

 

Mahon Park History: 

The 40 acre site of Mahon Park was sold by the North Vancouver Land and Improvement Company to the City in 1910. The park opened in 1914 with a dance pavilion and a track with a large grandstand that seated a thousand people. Since it's opening the park has had a rich history of civic events including the Hose Reel Race, parades, Hot Summer Nights, and many other events. 

The forested ravine provides important habitat for the fish-bearing Wagg and Mission Creeks that flow through the area.
