Our MC for the evening will be Mo Amir, host of the TV talk show "This is VANCOLOUR" on CHEK.
Mo Amir is the creator and host of This is VANCOLOUR - a culture and politics TV talk show on CHEK. Mo interviews Premiers, cabinet ministers, experts, journalists, entertainers, and media personalities. In four years, his profile has risen as a prolific political commentator on CHEK, CBC radio and television, Vancouver is Awesome, The Peak FM, CKNW, and a variety of independent outlets. From moderating Vancouver's mayoral debate, to delivering keynote presentations, to sitting on academic panels, and speaking at public events, Mo's keen interest in people has elevated him as a strong voice in the community. His family business, SPF Precut Lumber in which Mo is still very much involved, has been a North Vancouver Chamber member for nearly 30 years.
