If you have an out of date employee handbook, or want to create one, this is your chance to find the motivation and direction you need. This session will focus on the essentials of employee handbooks, as well as tips to create a document that breathes life into your organization. Despite its importance, many organizations put off developing this document because the process can be complex. Presenter Shelagh Levangie of Harbour West Consulting will share their expertise on building this important document.

Presenter:
Shelagh Levangie has over ten years of experience heading organizations in human resources, finance and research. She is passionate about working with organizations to identify their goals and build the systems, frameworks and strategies to ensure success. As a trained cultural anthropologist, Shelagh applies her interest in workplace cultures, non-profit leadership and civic engagement to her work and teaches Cultural Anthropology at a local liberal arts college.
