About Us
LedgersOnline was founded in 2002 by Wayne Zielke, a Chartered Accountant, who was working tirelessly during one long night at the peak of tax season. Wayne, a master at creative tax planning and a former biochemist with a degree in Biochemistry from the University of British Columbia, had a 'light bulb moment.' He was on the cusp of developing a blueprint for a system that would revolutionize the often tedious and time-consuming task of bookkeeping. This innovative service would deliver clean and concise financial data for his clients and their accountants and financial partners. Wayne assembled a team of financial and technology professionals to create outsourced bookkeeping services and accounting solutions online to assist small to medium enterprises, providing streamlined efficiency with cost and time-saving processes.
